Level 3 alerts

CZMVO team informs you about a change that was implemented in the Alert Management System (CZAMS) in regards to level 3 alerts. These alerts are displayed in CZAMS from 2023, but according to the Regulation and the current policy of NCA (SÚKL) it is not necessary to investigate them. If other conditions preventing the dispense of the package are not violated, it can be dispensed to the public.

After the evaluation, we have decided not to display these lower level alerts anymore. Therefore,  from 7 Februay 2025, level 3 alerts will not be available in CZAMS for pharmacies, wholesalers and MAHs/OBPs. However, discussion over this is continuing between CZMVO and SÚKL and should there be a change in the investigation requirement, we will inform you in advance.

These are the following alert codes:

  • A1 – the product code is unknown.
  • A4 – the pack cannot be reactivated (10 day time limit exceeded).
  • A5 – the pack cannot be reactivated (it was decommissioned at another location).
  • A8 – the batch has expired (the pack cannot be supplied).
  • A9 – the batch has been recalled (the pack cannot be decommissioned).
  • A10 – the pack was previously supplied at this location (within the permitted national limit).
  • A22 – market not found / target market has been disconnected (the product code or batch is unknown locally).
  • A70 – market is not available (the product code or batch is unknown locally).
